This week we had a special visitor from Korea in our class. Her name is Mrs. Rose and she taught us many things about her country. These are the top 5 things that I learned from her:5-In Korea, June is the month of Roses.
4-Korean Pumpkin candy is delicious!
3-The word "Traditional" is a favorite adjective in Korea.
2-You can reward tantrums with special prizes. (This is NOT something I wanted my students to learn...)
1-There are multiple pronunciations for various words (Example: trapezoid can also be pronounced "trapejoid")
All in all, my students loved learning from Rose. I enjoyed having her in class as well!
I feel like I know so much more about a country I never knew about. Thank you Rose. Thank you. You were so sweet to let her in your room and spoil T. Your post had me rolling in tears by the way. You are so funny and you will never, I mean never, forget Rose. "Did you write this?"
