Caribbean!!!

Last week I went on the best trip ever... We flew into Miami early Saturday morning, checked into our hotel, and spent the day in South Beach.


Sunday we got onto our boat, the Carnival Triumph.


Monday we spent the day in Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. The beach was SO beautiful there! These are most of the friends that we went with...


Tuesday morning we awoke to an announcement that they were rerouting our cruise due to a hurricane. We were kind of bummed until we heard that now we were going to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel! We spend our day at sea sleeping, eating, and hanging out on deck. Oh and singing karaoke and dancing, of course!


Wednesday we went to Jamaica!!! It was a gorgeous island. We hiked up a waterfall and bartered with the locals. They tried to sell us just about anything (if you know what I mean...).


Thursday we went to Grand Cayman. We went on a boat ride to a reef where we went snorkeling. We were also supposed to play with sting rays, but that part of the reef was too wavy so the coast guard wouldn't let us off the boat there. I did see two sting rays swimming around while I was snorkeling though!



Friday we went to Cozumel, Mexico. I loved this island. We hiked around some Mayan ruins and learned a little history about those people. We also went snorkeling and saw tons of colorful fish.











Saturday was another day at sea... But the fun doesn't stop just because you're stuck on a boat! We laid out on deck, went down the water slide, went dancing, and even met Montel Jordan (he sang "This is how we do it" in the early 90s).









Sunday we flew home... It was the longest day ever! We were all super tired from traveling. We got pretty bored waiting for our flight in the airport, but somehow we kept ourselves entertained!
